Useful all year round - Our testing took place over the summer, but Car Shades aren’t only for sunny months. In autumn and winter the sun sits low in the sky and can shine directly through side windows at children’s eye level, especially on morning school runs and late-afternoon journeys. Keeping the shades fitted all year helps protect little ones from that glare whatever the season.

What Could Be Improved

While 92% of testers said they would recommend Car Shades, some feedback is worth noting.

One tester had trouble with the self-adhesive mounting clips in very hot conditions. She explained that the adhesive softened after long exposure to high temperatures. The retailer she bought from sent replacement clips free of charge.

Another tester said the shades she ordered didn’t fit her particular car as expected and left a noticeable gap.

These experiences weren’t typical of most of the feedback, but they show why it’s important to check exact vehicle compatibility before ordering, and to make sure the mounting system suits the conditions the shades will be used in.
